Aggregation
The conceptual interpretation of “family” is stored and connecting the family through all levels of experience in life, which can be quiet, contented and long-lasting with reflection between virtual and reality. The design renounces existing style or the complex/sophisticated story but outlines the rich expressions of relation among the family through image conveyance and extension, using art and natural copies. The design intensely connects and shares living and life to advocate the creative form of main ideas.
Even the most trivial incidents in life are meanings of “family.” The design process and results are not interpreted through certain approach but create the shared living space according to the lifestyle of users. The case implements the concept of advocacy for spiritual abundance under subtle and calm approach, returning the various interpretations of living aesthetics to art value and natural philosophy.
Experience, Perception
In contrast to the explicit design of style, the designer decided to design the case as a unit “company children to grow and share emotions” so that family becomes the carrier companying growth, re-composing the scale of creativity. The owner and his wife wish for the older brother and pre-school sister to study and company each other before they reach the aging of attending universities thorough the integration of design.
The family of four is enthusiastic in camping and mountain hiking. Before handing over their new semi-finished house, they have “camped” here and experience the life of “family” in advance. The designer modified the previous luxurious double-entry automatic door into a cloakroom with storage function. This space is designed for sorting the camping supplies, shoes, and hiking tools for each member of family. The façade design with dark wooden material representing earth is allocated with indirect lighting that implies the natural wildness of dawn breaking the layers of mountain ridges. Two carpets designed by famous designers are arranged for the floor of living room. One of the carpets features gray shares and green color denotes the natural landscape while the other red color expresses the gorgeous view of sunset, jointly structuring the majestic momentum of mountain-side mansion building surrounded by sunset and pink sky. The design sets off the artistic green view with symbolization of seasonal changes.
